STEP 1
Set up a wallet on browser: Chrome, Firefox, Brave, or Edge.
Installing Metamask
Meta Mask works on Chrome, Brave, and Firefox at this time. Chrome and Brave work best at this time.
1. Choose a wallet below to use in your browser
2. Click “Download” to install Metamask.
3. Add the MetaMask extension to your browser on the upper right.
4. Click “Add Extension” to complete the installation.
You will know MetaMask has been installed when you see the fox logo on the upper right hand corner of your browser.
Click the pin in the Extensions drop down menu to dock MetaMask on your top bar.

STEP 2
Adding Avalanche Network
to the MetaMask Wallet
1. Log in to MetaMask -> Click the Network drop-down -> Select Add network
2. A new window will open up, showing a list of predefined networks.
From that list, click on the Add button next to the Avalanche network.
3. When prompted, click Approve.
4. A pop-up window will display a message according to which the network
was added successfully while providing the option to switch to the Avalanche network.
STEP 3
Purchase AVAX on an exchange like Coinbase and
transfer to your wallet
Swap some AVAX to WAVAX (wrapped AVAX)
Use WAVAX to purchase your NFT
STEP 4
(optional but recommended)
Connect to hardware wallet (optional)
It is best to use a hardware wallet to store your private keys and keep your tokens secure. See the Connect Hardware Wallet option the red arrow point to in the image.
Follow these instructions to set up.
But I don’t have a hardware wallet . . .
* If you cannot get a hardware wallet make sure you never have any open browser tabs open other than BornFree.io, and only when you are interacting with the site. Always LOCK when you are not using the site or the MetaMask wallet.
